SIXTH STAGE OF HIKING

Sixth stage of hiking.

The stage joins the shelter of Manganu

Leaving Castel de Veggio, join the path in front of the bivouac area which runs slightly down the path of the round.

Then climb laces up to Bocca San Petru (1452m).  Continue the path of muleteer  and reach Bocca a reta (1883 m).

We arrive in front of the lake di Ninu with the magnificent view. You can fill the water bottle at the foutain located to the right of the lake.

Attention: presence of pozzines; they are fragile plant formations...

Follow the path through alders and betel forest to arrive after a small climb to the sheepfolds of Vaccaghja. Sale  of cheese and other...

       

The refuge is in front of the sheepfold so a small single climb and you are arrive...

In the end 4h39 with breaks included for 16,69 km for a total D+ 662 m and D- 448 m.
